Using Remanufactured Cartridge Takes More Cost Than Original Cartridge
For small office and home office (SOHO) user, using remanufactured cartridges (cartridges that reused after refurbishment process) is considered more advantageous than buying the original cartridge for cheaper price. However, it all is a myth.
Base on survey conducted by Hewlett Packard, using remanufactured cartridges increase almost 31% higher costs for user. This means, buy the remanufactured cartridges are cheap but it is only the beginning, because it could be spending much more cost later for the poor quality remanufactured cartridge and the problem that is caused by it.
“Expensive is relative. Indeed buy refill cartridges are cheaper but the company will mess around with additional costs due to poor printing results and the problem that may rise,” explains HP official saff.
In addition, the survey conducted by QualityLogic research institutions in Asia Pacific show, 2,500 SMEs in the Asia Pacific region felt cheated by buying remanufactured cartridges, which are 31 percent more experienced total cost is high for above reason.
Other evidence from the survey also revealed that if remanufactured cartridges premature failure indicate a poor outcome, meaning that when tested to print 10 thousand pages;for example, remanufactured cartridges can only results in 5 thousand. This of course hurt, because the cost is not balanced with the results obtained.
This does not include quality remanufactured cartridges produced very poor and inconsistent. No doubt, many paper is wasted, which impact on the cost is more that must be removed.
The latter, remanufactured cartridges are not environmentally friendly, since cartridges can only be used two to three times, after which it must be discarded into the trash. Unlike the original cartridges, especially HP, which is capable merecyle products into raw materials for another.

Remanufactured inkjet cartridges cost at least 30 percent less than those sold by printer makers. Is there any reason not to buy?

That’s right if you just compare the basic price the two of cartridge. But please remember the problem that may come due to usage of remanufactured cartridge. Service fee usually takes so much cost

I used remanufactured and refill ink for so many years and I have no problem encountered and very affordable in my budget and quality is good not just like brand new cartridge after a year a model is gone and you to purchase again another to printer because your old cartridge is out of model..
