Introduction To Inkjet Printer

I am sure that most of us have inkjet printer in office, home, etc. So,what do we you know about inkjet printer?. An inkjet printer is the printer that places extremely small droplets of ink onto printing media (paper) to create an image.
If you ever look at a piece of paper that has come out of an inkjet printer, we will know that:
- The dots are extremely small (usually between 50 and 60 microns in diameter), so small that they are tinier than the diameter of a human hair (70 microns)!.
- The dots are positioned very precisely, with so high resolutions ever (the latest technology allows very high resolution up to 9600 x 2400 dpi nowadays).
- The dots can have different colors combined together to create photo-quality images.
In these series of articles, we will discuss about inkjet printer and how inkjet printer works to create an image. We will also discuss about the ink and the paper that some inkjet printers use.
