In the most of Canon inkjet printer we can perform some operations without connecting to computer. This feature called stand alone printer operation (self test). Follow the following procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. Power on the printer
2. Press and hold RESUME/CANCEL button until the green LED blinks the specified number of times as listed below and release it. Then the operation starts.

LED Blinks: …………………Operation

• 1 time : ……………………… Print head manual cleaning
• 2 times:………………………. Nozzle check pattern printing
• 3 times: ………………………Pick up roller cleaning
• 4 times: ………………………Automatic print head alignment

By using this new technology, home and office printers available to you and anyone you choose everywhere as long as you have internet access. Google Cloud Print runs on android device, Chromebook, PC, and any other web-connected device you want to print from.
